Meet Cyrus! This one-of-a-kind pup is the absolute king of fetch and the ultimate sidekick to his best pal, Azura. At first glance, you might notice he’s a bit on the shorter side—but don’t worry, that’s just the Corgi in him adding to his charm (with a dash of German Shepherd for good measure).

But Cyrus isn’t just about good looks and impressive ball-chasing skills. His story has a twist: as a puppy, he roamed the streets as a stray. Just when you think this furry friend couldn’t get any more special, he proves you wrong. From humble beginnings to fetch champion, Cyrus is now busy living his best life—with Azura always by his side.

Hi, my name is Tanner K., and I am a freshman at JVA. I am 15 years old and was born here in Colorado. I have a passion for learning about the wars that have shaped our country and led us to where we are today. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two dogs and my brothers, as well as gaming. I decided to join the Newspaper team because I thought it would be a fun experience. I’m currently enjoying my time working with my peers. Additionally, I would like to mention that I am the only 9th grader on the Newspaper team.

Hi, my name is Jeniya. I am 17. I am a Senior here at JVA. I have yet to go anywhere out of Colorado. I love to style hair, and I love to look at the colors you can dye your hair. Being creative is something that I love, whether that is participating in school news or finding new ways to cut and style my hair, it all works for me. I love to volunteer for my church, one of my favorite things to do is work with young kids and watch them grow. Something else I love to do is Tent Camping.
