Denver’s dining and business scenes are heating up with summer just around the corner. A fresh wave of exciting new restaurants and local businesses are set to open up across the metro area, offering everything from Latin-fusion street food to eco-friendly retail spaces.
One of the most anticipated newcomers is Casa de Alma, a vibrant upscale Latin-fusion restaurant opening in the RiNo neighborhood this June. The restaurant promises a modern twist on traditional dishes from Central and South America, with locally sourced ingredients and an emphasis on presentation. This space also features rooftop seating and live music on the weekends. “We want every plate and every moment here to celebrate Latin culture,” said executive chef and co-owner Luisa Delgado.
For burger lovers, Flatiron Smash, a Boulder favorite, is bringing its gourmet smashburgers to a new location in downtown Denver this July. The menu will include creative sides like truffle tater tots and Colorado green chili cheese fries, plus vegan options.
Food isn’t the only thing popping up this summer. Green Loop Market, a zero-waste general store, is opening its second location in the Highlands. The store offers bulk goods, refill stations for everyday products, and workshops on sustainable living. “Our goal is to make eco-conscious shopping convenient and accessible,” said founder Morgan Fields.
Also set to open up is StudioThrive, a hybrid wellness center and coworking space in Cherry Creek. With yoga rooms, a smoothie cafe, and quiet work pods, the space is geared towards remote professionals that are looking for balance. Monthly memberships are already generating buzz on social media platforms.
From creative eats to innovative retail, Denver continues to grow in its reputation as one of the most dynamic cities in the West. Whether you are a foodie, a freelancer, or someone just simply looking for a fresh summer experience, there is something new that is waiting for you.
