From energetic pups and cuddly cats to sleek snakes and lively lizards, many people in our JVA community have beloved pets who brighten their days. As online students and teachers, we tend to spend more time with them than anyone else, especially as they become our study buddies, our loyal companions in life, and even our favorite “classmates” during the school day!

This time in the Otter Newspaper, we’re celebrating Koda, a playful, energetic, and lovable Husky who belongs to Tanner Kirby! Koda has a big personality and plenty of quirks that make him one of a kind. He loves playing tug-of-war and never misses an opportunity for a good challenge. He also chews on just about everything, keeping his family on their toes when it comes to what’s left within reach. And one of his most unique traits? Koda sleep talks!
Koda must enjoy spending time with Tanner and always seems up for fun.
