Hey hey, everyone! My name is Izzie V. I’m 16 and a Junior this year at JVA. I was born in Texas, but lived in Colorado for the past 14 years of my life. In my free time, I babysit and do volunteer work, typically at my dads work or at local festivals. I have a lot of rotating hobbies, including but not limited to, drawing, cosplay, cooking, writing, dance, gaming, practicing aikido and more. While I love all of these, what I love even more is spending time with my clan. I have an incredibly large family of siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, grand parents, second cousins, and the list goes on. As well as that, I also consider my friends to be apart of this family. Spending time with them is what makes me happiest.

I joined newspaper this year due to my love for writing and collaborating with others. I hope to be able to bring our school community together through sharing good food, entertaining stories, and coverage on fun events! In addition, I was apart of the yearbook committee last year, which was an overall amazing experience. I can’t wait to write some stories for you all!
