With only 15 days left till Halloween, it’s time to start getting in the spooky spirit! Here’s six upcoming events you won’t want to miss out on!
1. Mile High Trunk or Treat – Free Entry
October 30th, Empower Fields Stadium Parking Lot C.
Trick or treating isn’t always possible for everyone, especially those of us who live up in the mountains. If you live in the Rocky Mountains, or really anywhere with spread out housing, trunk or treating probably isn’t anything new to you. However, this isn’t just any parking lot with cars stuffed with candy.
Presented by Far East Center, Denver Police Foundation, Denver Police Department, and Community Partners, the Mile High Stadium Parking Lot is transformed into an event filled with food trucks, free candy, performances, and so much more. This event is perfect for both the littles and adults of your family. With all kinds of tasty food options from Texan BBQ to Korean street food, there’s a bit of something for everyone. Costumes are encouraged, and there’ll even be a contest for them! I myself will be in attendance!
2. Spooky Light Show – Paid
WATER WORLD COLORADO 8801 N Pecos St, Federal Heights
This drive-through light show is sure to be a hit with the kids of the family! I went for the Christmas show, and it was truly an experience! If you’re wanting a more low-key way of getting in the Halloween spirit, this is the way to go!
3. Spooky Hello Kitty Market – Free Entry
October 19th, Theme Venue 2890 Ames St Wheat Ridge
For all fans of everything cute, this is the stop for you! With local vendors, food, sweets, and much more, it’s worth checking out! Be it shopping, taking pictures or just hanging out, you’ll be supporting small businesses!
